Our story

Ismail and Bethany Succes Jean Baptiste have felt God’s call to ministry for much of their lives. Ismail has a passion for teaching, training, and community service, while Bethany is called to worship ministry, outreach, and mentoring the next generation of leaders and worshippers.

Together they founded Dream Haiti, a nonprofit that provided education to more than 200 children in La Chapelle, Haiti. After marrying in 2016, they continued serving together in the Buffalo area as they grew their family.

In 2022, Ismail began discerning God’s call to church planting while Bethany served as a worship leader at Randall Church in Williamsville, NY. In 2025, Ismail began a church planting residency with the SEND Network and Randall Church. Through theological study, prayer, and assessment, they were affirmed and approved as church planters with the SEND Network.

Today, Ismail and Bethany feel called to plant a church in Cheektowaga, NY, sharing the hope of Jesus and serving the community. Just as God led them to serve the people of Haiti where Ismail grew up, he is now leading them to bring that same hope and love to Bethany’s hometown.

Ismail and Bethany are blessed with three beautiful children, Jaden (8), Arie (5), and Adi (newborn) and reside in the Buffalo area.
